Since 1996, she has contributed to projects in Mongolia focused on agriculture, livestock, crop production, food security, and natural resource management.

Glen Ainsworth

Country Director

 

Glen Ainsworth is an environmental and sustainability specialist with global experience in mining, renewable energy, and land‑use planning. He works with herders, communities, and government partners to support responsible resource management and nature‑positive development across Mongolia. Glen brings a systems‑thinking approach that blends international best practice with local knowledge, focusing on biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and practical solutions that strengthen community capacity and long‑term environmental outcomes.

Value Chain, PBO and Economic Development Specialist

 

Mark Pommerville is an international development leader with over 20 years of experience managing large-scale, donor-funded programs across Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. He specializes in agriculture, livelihoods, food security, and market systems development. Mark works closely with governments, private sector partners, and communities to strengthen agricultural value chains, improve rural incomes, and promote climate-resilient, inclusive development.

Surakhbayar Galsan is a Mongolian expert in natural resources, environmental governance, business, mining, and climate change law. He manages Black Rock Partners LLC, the project’s local partner, leading work on sustainable and critical resource governance, climate finance, and low-carbon development.

Kimberly Cornish is an experienced biodiversity and ecosystem management specialist with a strong background in regenerative agriculture and climate resilience. She has worked closely with farmers, researchers, and policymakers to advance land stewardship practices that balance ecological health with economic sustainability. In ECCO-FARM, she supports ecosystem-based approaches, biodiversity conservation strategies, and the integration of regenerative principles into livestock and pasture systems to strengthen environmental resilience.

Michelle Venter is an international expert in biodiversity conservation and natural climate solutions. Her work focuses on ecosystem restoration, carbon dynamics, and landscape-level resilience strategies. Graeme Finn

Livestock and Forage Production Specialist

 

Graeme Finn is a livestock production and forage systems specialist with extensive practical and advisory experience in sustainable pasture management. His expertise includes forage crop systems, soil–plant interactions, and resilient feeding strategies under variable climatic conditions. In ECCO-FARM, he provides technical support on improved herd management, pasture productivity, and sustainable feed systems, strengthening livestock resilience and productivity in climate-affected regions. He provided beef production consulting services to Metagro, Mongolia.
