Given ECCO-FARM is a locally focused project, the project team paid visits to project locations to introduce the project to Governor’s Office, Department of Food and Agriculture, the Department of Environment, the Department of Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring, and the Division of Investment and Development Policy and Planning.
Within these field trips, we visited the intensive cattle farm XanaduRazorback, one of the main agricultural extension partners located in Khutan-Undur soum of Bulgan aimag, and discussed project plans and potential collaboration in experience sharing and on-the-job training and coaching. We also visited the Institute of Plants and Agriculture Sciences and National Center for Livestock Gene bank in Darkhan-Uul province and discussed further collaboration on implementation of agricultural scientific and research-based innovative solutions and practices.
