On May 27, 2026, Glen Ainsworth, Country Director of the ECCO-FARM Project in Mongolia, and Batsukh T., Director of the Research Institute of Animal Husbandry (RIAH), signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation.
Under this partnership, the parties will:
Collaborate on research, pilot trials, and technical advisory services while supporting activities at experimental sites
Strengthen the technical skills and knowledge of researchers through training sessions, mentorship, and capacity building programы
Cooperate on joint initiatives to raise the profile of this partnership within Canada and Mongolia.
This partnership will contribute to strengthening herders’ capacity for improved preparation for winter and spring livestock feed reserves and for scientific research evidence-based livestock production.
